Most of the time, it comes down to one of two things: your agenda is too short, or your transcript isn't ready yet.
Check your agenda
Your meeting needs at least 3 agenda items before you can generate minutes. This is the most common reason the button is greyed out.
If your agenda PDF was short, or your meeting only covered one or two topics, add a few simple items in the Agenda tab, like Opening, Discussion, and Conclusion. See "How many agenda items do I need?"
Check your transcript
Your minutes are written from your transcript, so it needs to finish first. If your recording is still being transcribed, wait for it to finish and try again. See "My recording uploaded but there's no transcript".
If your minutes fail or stop partway
Every now and then, the AI doesn't get it right on the first try. When that happens:
Wait a couple of minutes, then click Generate Draft Minutes again.
For long meetings, choose the Short or Medium length. They work more reliably than Long.
Remember, you can re-generate as many times as you need, at no extra cost.
